Chateau on the Lake

On the shores of Table Rock Lake in Branson, Missouri, Chateau on the Lake looms high above the treetops where it appears more like a pristine palace out of a storybook than a recently renovated resort and convention center. But as you near the front steps, the grand facade and towering turrets of this majestic manor begin to soften and offer a sense of arriving home.

Chateau on the Lake Resort, Spa and Convention Center is a mix of luxury and comfort, offering 301 guest rooms and suites among a series of resort activities and amenities. The property features 43,500 square feet of meeting space all on one level, and the resort is widely recognized as one of the finest in the Midwest.

“Small meetings and events are a big deal at Chateau on the Lake Resort, Spa and Convention Center,” said director of sales David Hume. “The resort is more than somewhere to stay; it is somewhere to meet. When John Hammons, founder and CEO of John Q. Hammons Hotels and Resorts, set out to open a resort in Branson, Missouri, he wanted to create an experience that reflected not only the French Renaissance architecture style, but also the water and the picturesque rugged beauty of the Ozark Mountains that surround the property. The sheer fact that the property has earned the Four Diamond Award from AAA for 16 consecutive years is a testament to the investment in both the building and human capital.”

This resort can accommodate groups of all sizes and requirements, as well as a staff that anticipates the needs of its guests and clients. Here are a few of the key features of this regal resort that take events to a new class..

Meeting Space

The Chateau on the Lake Resort features 43,500 square feet of meeting space, offering 20 meeting rooms, including the 32,000-square-foot Great Hall, and three corporate boardrooms, in addition to a brand-new executive boardroom. Event planners can take advantage of the resort’s private 54-seat theater for special presentations, high-speed Internet access in all meeting rooms, a 24-hour business center, on-site audiovisual service with state-of-the-art equipment and technology, complimentary Wi-Fi in preconvene areas and outstanding banquet and catering services. The seven smaller meeting rooms, for 70 guests maximum, and three executive boardrooms are perfect for group breakouts, themed sessions and intimate social gatherings.

Exploring the Resort

In January, Chateau on the Lake Resort completed the renovation of its 301 guest rooms and suites and all of the smaller meeting rooms. Along with the new design and new digs, guests still have unlimited access to the resort’s amenities. While on property, guests can luxuriate in Spa Chateau’s European-style facilities, boost heart rates at the lake-view Movement Therapy Studio and even take things outdoors with a dip in the outdoor pool or hot tub after a bike ride along the trails surrounding the resort. The highlights of the resort’s activities revolve around the water with Chateau Marina acting as the home base for boat and wave runner rentals, sea kayaking excursions, guided fishing trips, scuba diving and more.
