GATLINBURG, Tennessee – A Courtyard by Marriott opened its doors to the public in July. Located near the Gatlinburg Convention Center, the $17 million hotel features a modern design with mountainous elements.
The 130 rooms’ aesthetic creates hybrid zones for working, sleeping, relaxing and getting ready. Designers utilized indirect lighting and a neutral pallet for a soothing environment.
The property also boasts a spacious outside courtyard area with fire pits, extra large hot tub and space for outdoor gatherings.
“We feel this property will offer the perfect accommodations for both those traveling to Gatlinburg for conventions and those traveling to the area for the downtown Gatlinburg fun, the national park and the rest that Sevier County has to offer,” said Davy Thomas, partner and COO of Hospitality Solutions, Inc., the hotel’s development and management company.
Guests can dine at The Bistro for healthy menu options, cocktails, wine and beer. The hotel not only provides quick access to the convention center, but it also offers 2,5000 square feet of meeting space with catering, audio and visual equipment.
