FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida — The Pelican Grand Beach Resort, part of the Noble House Hotels and Resorts collection, announced the completion of the new 1,400-square-foot Atlantic Ballroom and Terrace as part of a multimillion-dollar expansion project.
Suitable for events and meetings for up to 120 people, the Atlantic Ballroom offers views of the Atlantic Ocean, just steps from the beach, and the Atlantic Terrace, located directly above, provides a rooftop location with outdoor setting. Both feature a “coastal-chic” design, created with Florida and its natural tones and spectacular oceanfront views in mind.
“We have poured a lot of energy and planning into the transformation of Pelican Grand Beach Resort and are proud to reveal the completion of our new meeting and event space while unveiling elements involved in phase two,” said Bob Keesler, general manager. “We provide the highest level of customization and flexibility to each guest and every group, allowing us to exceed guests’ expectations and add to their memories.”
In addition to the Atlantic Ballroom and Terrace, a multimillion-dollar expansion scheduled to debut in May is currently underway, with three different improvement projects taking place simultaneously on the property. The expansion will double the meeting space and add new amenities to this 156-room boutique resort. Highlights include the creation of a 12th-floor penthouse with panoramic views from a 75-foot terrace and a private dining room for eight guests complete with an exclusive elevator.
Other new accompaniments include the 2,055-square-foot Ocean View Ballroom on the 11th floor, with floor-to-ceiling glass windows that open onto a balcony, and directly above on the 12th floor, the 3,700-square-foot Ocean View Terrace and Gazebo, which will offer views looking at Fort Lauderdale to the south and the Intracoastal Waterway to the west. The Ocean View spaces will accommodate up to 150 people for meetings, weddings and other social events.
