Pismo Beach Gaining New Hotel and Convention Center

PISMO BEACH, Calif. – Pismo Beach’s city planning commission recently voted unanimously in favor of starting construction on a new hotel and convention center in downtown. Currently a vacant dirt lot across the Pismo Pier, the location will soon hold a 104-room hotel and 2,100 square feet of meeting space.

The Inn at the Pier will also feature 1,800 square feet of retail shopping and an underground parking garage. The hotel’s design includes a rooftop pool, dining space and a 775-square-foot business center.

Officials currently predict the official opening to take place around late 2015.
