AKRON, Ohio — Alliance Hospitality Inc., based in Lewis Center, Ohio, has opened Akron’s newest hotel, the Residence Inn by Marriott–Akron South/Green.
This 80-suite property features the brand’s new Generation 9 design, the fifth to open in the nation and the first with the new Residence Inn by Marriott Lobby prototype.
Located 15 minutes from downtown and seven miles from Akron-Canton Airport, the Residence Inn Akron South/Green offers convenient access to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the National Inventors Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Residence Inn properties are designed as all-suite hotels that offer studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites. With a larger, expansive work space, complimentary high-speed Internet access and a multitude of easy-to-access outlets, guests are able to work efficiently throughout the suites. Designed and optimized for stays of five nights or more, each suite also has a fully equipped kitchen with a coffeemaker, microwave oven and residential-size appliances.
The hotel also maintains a business library where guests can fax, copy and print materials, and provides guests with an indoor swimming pool, exercise room and Sport Court.
