SIOUX CITY, Iowa – Iowa’s Sioux City Convention Center will sport a new look after the current $850,000 renovations are completed in August. New lights, carpet, ceiling, sound system and other technology upgrades will ensure that not just the appearance is updated, but the functionality as well.
“We think that by renovating this space, we’ll really be able to bring in those larger events,” said Erika Newton, venue manager. “We do want to get people from different associations throughout the state as well as regional conventions.”
New movable walls will section off different events that can be held simultaneously at the center.
