Event Space

Located near the downtown area, the Capital Event Center offers more than 10,000 square feet of conference space. Accommodating groups from 10 to 400, the facility has eight meeting rooms that range in size from 400 to 4,600 square feet.

The Lacey Conference Center has one room that serves 800 to 1,000 guests and a second that seats 88 at tables and chairs. Four conference rooms that handle six to 20 guests are also available.

The Middleton Auditorium offers lecture room seating for up to 75 guests and reception capacity for 100 guests. Located on Olympia’s west side, it features easy access and convenient parking.

Palate Pleasers

Extending through Olympia and several nearby towns, the South Sound Wine Trail offers stops at six award-winning wineries. Each winery features handcrafted wines and gives visitors the opportunity to meet the winemakers and discuss inside details about wine production.

Guests at Northwest Beerworks can choose from craft beer, cider and mead. A rotating selection of 24 taps includes two ciders and two that are nitro only. Not to be outdone, Olympia’s widely known Fish Brewing Company recently received a “Best Beer in the World” designation for its “Fish Tale Ale’s Beyond the Pale” at the World Beer Awards.

Outdoor Attractions

Percival Landing is a three-acre waterfront park in the heart of downtown. It offers picnic areas, open spaces, public art and a playground. A nearly milelong boardwalk is popular with visitors.

Some eight miles from Olympia, Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge showcases the local ecosystem and a variety of wildlife. The visitor center includes a view of a freshwater marsh, a nature shop and interpretive exhibits. Visitors can enjoy hiking, bird-watching, wildlife photography, boating and fishing.

Priest Point Park features picnic shelters and nature trails. Engaging views range from the saltwater shoreline to the state Capitol buildings and downtown Olympia.
