ENID, Okla. – After the city’s Veterans Day Parade ended at the newly re-opened Enid Convention Hall, the 1921 center held a public open house to show off the building’s renovations. About 300 people attended the November 18 opening and public tours.

The building was a center for Enid’s entertainment and sporting events until it was closed in 2009. After a $7 million renovation, the hall can welcome trade shows, stage presentations and other events.

The hall features two ballrooms, one 10,000 square feet, the other 3,000 square feet, as well as flexible meeting space. A tribute to all veterans held at the reopening mirrored the dedication to World War I veterans held when the center first opened in 1921.
