LINDSBORG, Kan. – Construction on the Sundstrom Conference Center will open up meeting possibilities for the Kansas town of Lindsborg. The 133-year-old Sundstrom Building is undergoing extensive reconstruction and is scheduled for completion in 2013.
The rebuilt facility will handle conferences and other events for up to 300 guests in a 3,500-square-foot banquet hall. The redesigned first floor will include an entrance foyer, a catering kitchen, state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment and restrooms capable of handling large groups.
The center’s central location gives guests quick access to Lindsborg’s historic downtown, where its Swedish heritage is showcased in shops, restaurants, museums and art galleries.
