MCLEAN, Virginia — Hilton recently opened its newest dual-brand hotel following a multimillion-dollar renovation – The Ellie Beach Resort Myrtle Beach, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, and the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton.
The 452-room property is a new addition to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and expands Hilton’s growing footprint of multi-brand properties. The resort offers enhanced communal areas and amenities, including two on-site restaurants and 38,000 square feet of meeting space.
“We’re delighted to open The Ellie Beach Resort and offer business and leisure travelers visiting Myrtle Beach an innovative and high-quality lodging experience,” said Jan McCormick, general manager of The Ellie Beach Resort and DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Myrtle Beach Oceanfront. “Blending these two award-winning brands and their signature, yet unique, identities under one resort complex further propels our commitment to providing quality accommodations to meet a wide variety of styles, travel needs and desired price points.”
The multi-brand concept provides larger and enhanced communal areas and amenities compared to the standard for a standalone property, benefiting both business and leisure travelers. The oceanfront resort is home to two on-site restaurants, the Ocean Blue Restaurant and the Southern Tide Bar and Grille. Recreational options include six pools and three waterslides, direct access to the beach and Springmaid Pier, a mini-golf course, sport courts and a 24-hour fitness center.
The property, owned by Singerman Real Estate and managed by Pyramid Global Hospitality, boasts 452 guest rooms, consisting of 238 Ellie Beach Resort rooms and suites and 214 DoubleTree Resort by Hilton rooms and suites.
Located on Springmaid Beach, the hotel offers guests easy access to Springmaid Pier, Myrtle Beach State Park, water sports, golf courses, The Market Common and Broadway at the Beach.
