WEST FARGO, N.D. – West Fargo’s first convention center and the first new hotel in 20 years opened April 17. The Cambria Suites and Conference Center already has 25 events booked into 2017.
“We have an opportunity to bring a brand new conference center in a 103-suite Cambria Suites,” said Mary Jo Alexander with the Cambria Suites and Conference Center. “So it’s bringing something fresh to this community that they haven’t seen in about 20 years.”
The site features modern hotel rooms, a bar, restaurant and convention space. Planners can choose from six ballrooms with audio and visual equipment, including the main ballroom that can accommodate 450 people.
The hotel used North Dakota culture as a design influence, including a mural in each suit inspired by the famed Fargo Theatre. Throughout the hotel and convention center, guests can also see photos of North Dakota posted on Instagram.
