Construction begins on Le Meridien hotel in Columbus
COLUMBUS, Ohio – On August 22, officials broke ground on the first Le Meridien hotel in Columbus. The 135-room hotel is slated to open in 2015 as part of the mixed-use Joseph development complex that will include office and retail space.
A block from the Greater Columbus Convention Center, the hotel will include about 8,000 square feet of meeting space. Le Meridien Columbus will also feature a full-service restaurant, signature bar, two deluxe spa suites and a fitness center.
Le Meridien’s parent company, Starwood Hotel Resorts, has five hotels in the Columbus area, including two Sheratons, two Four Points by Sheraton and a Westin.
