Hotel rooms: The Tri-Valley region has 4,507 hotel rooms among the five cities of Pleasanton, San Ramon, Livermore, Danville and Dublin.
What’s new: The San Ramon Marriott completed a $4.5 million renovation of its 16,500 square feet of meeting space in January 2012. The hotel is renovating its lobby and restaurant and expected the $2.5 million project to be complete this month.
Location: Situated in northern California’s East Bay, the Tri-Valley is 35 miles east of San Francisco and 18 miles east of Oakland.
Getting there: The Tri-Valley is less than an hour from three major airports: Oakland International Airport, Mineta San Jose International Airport and San Francisco International Airport. Anchored by the crossroads of interstates 580 and 680, the Tri-Valley is easily reached by car. BART’s (Bay Area Rapid Transit’s) two stations in Dublin and Pleasanton provide a 20-minute ride to downtown Oakland or a 40-minute commute into San Francisco.
