LEAGUE CITY, Texas – Officials announced a facelift inspired by the nautical influences abundant in the surrounding area for the South Shore Harbour Resort and Conference Center. The largest full-service, waterside resort hotel and conference center in southeast Texas will receive a multi-million dollar renovation.

Hotel officials will update and incorporate more contemporary designs to the site’s pool, restaurant and 238 guest rooms. A new air conditioning system and LED energy-efficient lighting will also modernize the venue.

The resort hotel’s 25,000-square-foot conference center will remain open during the renovations, which are slated for completion in the second half of 2016. Interior designers incorporated elegant detailing of the area’s yachts into the new look, including the teak woods and polished chromes common in upscale yachts.

The property’s total conference space includes an 8,800-square-foot ballroom, 70-seat amphitheater training center and flexible spaces for events ranging in size. South Shore Harbour Resort offers easy access to many of Houston’s most popular destinations.
