RENO, Nevada — Caesars Entertainment recently unveiled Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino, ushering in a new era for the South Shore with a modern, high-energy, luxury destination in the Sierra Nevada.

The July grand opening marked the conclusion of a sweeping, multiphased transformation of the former Harveys Lake Tahoe, one that honors its legacy while redefining the experience for a new generation of travelers. From the moment guests arrive, they encounter a fully reimagined lobby, a modernized casino floor, redesigned guest rooms and a collection of dining and venues that bring fresh energy, design and sophistication to the heart of the South Shore.

“With Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe, we set out to create something truly distinctive for this market — an experience that blends the natural beauty of the Sierra Nevada with the energy and innovation our guests expect,” said Anthony Carano, president and COO of Caesars Entertainment. “The grand opening represents the realization of that vision and the beginning of an exciting new era for Lake Tahoe.”

Across the resort, guests will discover a lineup of elevated experiences, from newly renovated rooms to the luxurious High Dive Pool and Lounge, featuring a heated pool, hot tubs and cabanas, and a stellar collection of dining and nightlife concepts, including WOLF by Vanderpump, Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen, The Sage Room and Tessie’s Cocktails & Chords, which blends live music with an elevated cocktail program.

The fully refreshed casino floor features new slot machines, table games, a modern high-limit and poker experience and renovated Caesars Sportsbook, further elevating the destination’s energy and appeal.

For something more low-key, guests can check out the resort’s day-to-night coffee and cocktail bar, Cleo’s, as well as a variety of other newly designed bars, including Centro and Celeste.

“Our vision was to take everything guests have loved about this destination for decades and revitalize it through a more modern, design-forward lens,” said Karie Hall, SVP and general manager of Harrah’s and Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe. “The result is a resort that feels vibrant, elevated and unmistakably Tahoe, whether you’re here for the views, the dining or the moments you can’t get anywhere else.”

The resort is connected to Harrah’s Lake Tahoe via an easy-access connector, providing guests with convenient access to additional rooms, dining and entertainment options. Together with Harrah’s Lake Tahoe, the destination offers nearly 1,250 guest rooms, blending contemporary luxury with classic alpine charm in one of North America’s most iconic year-round settings.

Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe’s Special Events Center features 25,000 square feet of meeting space, including 17 versatile rooms, the largest of which is the flexible 10,000-square-foot Forum Ballroom. In combination with its sister property Harrah’s, planners can take advantage of 50,000 square feet of adaptable spaces.
