What’s new: A nine-hole golf course, a restaurant, a pro shop and a natural history museum are in the works. There’s no planned opening date, but the new additions could debut next year. It all depends on when owner and perfectionist Johnny Morris is satisfied.

Rooms: 246 rooms in six different accommodation styles, including lodges, cottages and log cabins.

Meeting space: Grandview Conference Center, which opened in 2008, offers 21,308 square feet of function space for groups of 10 to 1,000.

Amenities: Two spa sites, five swimming pools, two outdoor hot tubs, four dining establishments, complimentary wireless Internet access, horseback riding, and fishing and boating excursions on Table Rock Lake.

Location: In the Ozark Mountains about 40 miles south of Springfield, Mo., and just under nine miles south of Branson. Fly into Springfield-Branson National or Branson airports.
