What’s new: The hotel opened in 2007 as the first stage of Lynchburg’s riverfront development, which envisions a path and condominiums along a bluff. The hotel plans to add 50 to 60 guest rooms by 2015. It was the first hotel to equip guest rooms with Nano Touch mats to kill germs on television remotes.
Rooms: The hotel has 44 guest rooms, 33 in the hotel and 11 in the old tobacco warehouse that houses the Event Center and two restaurants.
Meeting space: There is 4,000 square feet of meeting space in the Event Center and four private meeting and dining areas.
Amenities: Amenities include a fitness center, a business center, two restaurants, complimentary wireless Internet and Ethernet, complimentary continental breakfast in a shoeshine box, complimentary overnight shoeshine and a dog that’s always glad to see you.

Location: Lynchburg is located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains along the James River in central Virginia. The closest airport is Lynchburg Regional Airport, six miles from the hotel. It is served by US Airways. The larger Roanoke Regional Airport is 45 miles away. Amtrak runs trains from New York and Washington, D.C.
