What’s new: The inn’s largest ballroom reopened in May after a renovation. Sixteen new guest rooms were added on the fourth floor, and the remaining 87 rooms will be remodeled six at a time. Heating and air-conditioning systems have been updated. Earlier this year, the Lobby Library was added. The Hunters’ Tavern replaced a fine-dining restaurant in 2009.
Rooms: The inn has 103 guest rooms, including eight suites.
Meeting space: The inn’s 8,000 square feet of meeting space includes two ballrooms (one with a separate entrance), a boardroom and a small second-floor conference center with a lounge.
Amenities: Complimentary Internet access (wireless in the lobby, wired in rooms), flat-screen televisions and in-room safes. Pets are allowed.
Recognitions: The inn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Location: In Easton on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, the inn is about 75 minutes from Baltimore, 90 minutes from Washington and two hours from Philadelphia by car. The closest major airport is Baltimore Washington International (BWI); private planes can use the Easton Airport. Guest parking is free; valet parking is available.
