What’s new: The Warren Conference Center has added a fitness center to its inn. Northeastern University, which owns the Warren Conference Center, expanded its conference business in August by adding a third facility to its mix. Battery March, in Boston’s financial district, is for meetings of 30 to 40.
Recognitions: The center is a member of the International Association of Conference Centers.
Rooms: There are 49 guest rooms in the inn and four in a small lodge.
Meeting space: The conference center’s 10,000 square feet of meeting space is in three buildings and includes five rooms larger than 1,000 square feet and six smaller ones. Lawns, tents and patios are available May through October.
Amenities: Complimentary wired and wireless Internet access, LCD screens, Bose sound systems, whiteboards, ergonomic chairs and kits of office supplies in each meeting room; morning and afternoon breaks, luncheon and dinner buffets; outdoor facilities for tennis, soccer, softball, horseshoes and volleyball, as well as a walking trail; extensive team-building programs.
Location: The conference center is 6 miles off the Massachusetts Turnpike, 25 miles west of Boston. It is 35 miles from Boston’s Logan Airport. Shuttles are available.
