Asheville’s 48-Hour Experiences

Courtesy Asheville CVB

Conversations with artists in the River Arts District. A candlelight tour at the Biltmore Estate. A zany ride through downtown Asheville on the La Zoom Comedy Tour bus. A massage at the Omni Grove Park Inn.

Those are a few of experiences meeting planners could have when they attend the Asheville CVB’s 48-Hour Experience.

The CVB has scheduled three of the two-day tours. The first 48-Hour Experiences was held in early November; the others are set for April 9-12 and June 17-20. Each 48-Hour Experience is limited to eight qualified meeting planners.

Planners spend three nights and two full days in the city. They will tour the hotels that interest them most, dine in local restaurants, visit area attractions and see a number of off-site venues.
Qualified planners whose applications are accepted will receive transportation reimbursement up to $500, hotel accommodations, meals, transportation during the event and customized signature experiences.
