KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. – The National Coalition of Black Meeting Planners (NCBMP) honored David Bradley as “Outstanding 2011 Pioneer” in December. Bradley is director of convention sales at the Valley Forge Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The annual award honors a hospitality industry professional who promotes minority participation in the meeting planning business and networking, and mentors young professionals in the industry.

Bradley, a nine-year bureau employee, received the award because of  his involvement in the coalition’s student educational assistance committee and student travel awards program. He also led community outreach programs.

“There is nothing an employer likes to hear more than wonderful things said of his or her staff, and Dave Bradley’s Outstanding Pioneer award is just one of many accolades he has garnered during his time with this organization,” said Paul Decker, CVB president. “Hospitality people are well-known for their givebacks to the communities in which they live and work, but Dave’s personal efforts create a tremendously positive impression of Valley Forge and Montgomery County’s hospitality industry.”
