Business Travel Intentions Surveyed
ORLANDO, Fla. – Travelhorizons asked U.S. adults about their upcoming business travel plans to determine what to expect for the next six months. Conducted by MMGY Global, the survey determined that business travel intentions have risen to three in 10 adults planning at least one trip for business during the next six months.
This amount of intended business travel rose a significant seven points from the same period in 2013. This survey marks the highest percentage of planned corporate travel recorded since travelhorizons first started the survey in February 2009.
Though more travelers plan to hit the road for work, they also reported fewer planned trips during the period of May to October 2014. They will average 3.7 trips compared to 2013’s average of 4.2 trips.
