VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia— The Cavalier Resort and Gold Key | PHR have announced that the resort’s third and final luxury hotel, The Embassy Suites Resort Virginia Beach Oceanfront Hotel, is nearing completion and is on track to open in early 2023.
The Embassy Suites by Hilton will provide 10,000 square feet of meeting and event space that can accommodate events with up to 300 people. The oceanfront property also brings an additional 157 hotel suites to the resort, offering sweeping views of the Atlantic coastline. The hotel will offer a range of resort amenities, including indoor and outdoor pools, a 24/7 fitness center and two new eateries.
As construction nears completion, the resort announced the names for the hotel’s two new dining spaces – the beachside “Tacos ‘N Tequila” shack, aka TNT, and “Arbuckle’s Bar and Grill,” named for historically recurring Cavalier Hotel guest Roscoe “Fatty” Arbuckle.
When complete, Cavalier Resort will be home to three hotels, all on one luxury resort property located in the semi-private North End of the Virginia Beach oceanfront. The new Embassy Suites Resort will complement the existing Cavalier Resort properties, including the Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Hotel that opened in May 2020 and the Historic Cavalier Hotel and Beach Club, which was restored and reopened in March 2018.
Embassy Suites by Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront guests will have resort-wide charging privileges, access to the resort’s nine restaurants and eateries, onsite distillery and a full-service spa, complimentary bike rentals and daily resort activities.
