Cirque St. Armands Beachside Premieres February 2025

Cirque St. Armands Beachside, the Opal Collection’s newest Florida hotel, is coming to Lido Key with reservations beginning February 2, 2025. Just steps from Lido Beach and a two-minute walk to the district of St. Armands Circle, this circus-inspired hotel pays homage to the legacy of one of Sarasota’s most famous residents, John Ringling.

Meetings and Events

Cirque St. Armands Beachside is ideal for meetings, special events and group retreats. The 135-key resort offers group blocks of 10 rooms or more. The room block is also a great fit for visitors attending nearby meetings, special events and weddings.

Looking for more event space? Opal sibling resorts offer expansive event space and are located within a few minutes of Cirque St. Armands Beachside. Over 27,000 square feet of meeting space and 773 guest rooms and suites are available across the four Sarasota properties.

  • The Lido Beach Resort just a half-mile from Cirque St. Armands features 6,000 square feet of newly renovated flexible indoor and outdoor event space and 222 luxury accommodations.
  • The Resort at Longboat Key Club features 12,000 square feet of customizable function space and 229 luxurious guest rooms and suites.
  • Zota Beach Resort features over 2,700 square feet of flexible Gulf-front event space, an additional 1,925 square feet of pre-function space and 187 guest rooms.

Design

Design elements include grandiose, billowing drapery, geometric and stripe patterns, ornate ostrich feather chandeliers, golden wall sconces, and pin-striped columns. Cirque St. Armands Beachside features the same core tenants of other Opal properties: signature hospitality, food and beverage, and upscale accommodations that offer views from the beach to the bay.

Food and Beverage

Floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic beach views and billboard-size murals with trapeze artists will greet diners at Ringside, the hotel’s on-site restaurant. Five booths will be set behind velvet drapery and cuisine will feature bold flavors and Gulf seafood favorites.

The hotel bar, Midway, is the place to mix and mingle with views of the beach. A large, tufted banquette sofa anchors the lobby bar lounge, which also features a bar straddling the indoor lobby space and the outdoor pool area. Happy hours are a must here for daring drinks that take center stage beneath the unique cage-like canopy of the bar.

Located on the opposite side of the lobby bar lounge, the pool bar, Ringmaster, serves a similar menu with beach views and sips suited to sunbathing on the surrounding pool deck.

Amenities

Guests can keep their exercise routine going at the hotel’s fully-equipped fitness center, or lounge along the 300 feet of warm, turquoise waters and white-sand beaches at the sibling Opal property, Lido Beach Resort. Bike rentals are available. The “ringmaster,” the concierge based in the Cirque St. Armands lobby, is on hand to help curate your stay.

Nearby Attractions

Visitors can enjoy shopping and nightlife at nearby St. Armands Circle, a tropical outdoor shopping and dining district with an intentionally circular layout inspired by a circus wagon wheel. The Ringling — John and Mable Ringling’s 66-acre estate-turned-museum-complex — is also a short drive from the resort.
