McLEAN, Va. – Cvent, the world’s largest event management company, now offers hotel and car rental bookings through its partnership with Concur, a travel and expense management company. The two companies’ collaboration creates an end-to-end travel and meetings management system that helps planners track event spending and reduce event planning time.

The event planning technology helps meeting planners comply with corporate spending policies, partially because negotiated hotel room book rates can now be automatically uploaded into the Concur booking engine. The companies estimate that the event registration service will reduce time spent managing group hotel booking by up to 40 percent.
Event registration details, fees paid, meals chosen, air travel, and hotel and car rental confirmations are all now consolidated.
