ENID, Okla.— It has been a busy eight months in Enid, with the reopening in November of the historic and newly renovated Convention Hall and then in June, with the opening of the new Enid Event Center next door. Global Spectrum manages both.
Convention Hall has an 11,000-square-foot ballroom, a 3,000-square-foot junior ballroom and 5,500 square feet of meeting space. The event center seats 3,200 for sporting events, 3,800 for concerts and has a 31,500-square-foot tradeshow floor.
The two connected facilities are the centerpiece of the $34 million Enid Renaissance Project. Grand openings and ribbon-cuttings marked the arrival of each venue.
The next project in the downtown revival is construction of a hotel that will serve both facilities.
