WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — A long-term expansion and upgrade will begin this fall at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Va.
By May, a two-story restaurant will be open at the marina, a family swimming pool complex will be built where a par 3 golf course is now located, and the fitness center and pool will be redesigned.
Also planned is a 210-room hotel that will include conference space, a restaurant, a lounge and a golf pro shop. No start date has been announced for that project.
“This plan has something for all of our guests, whether they are on business, enjoying a family vacation, getting married or having a golf getaway,” said Gordon Taylor, vice president of Kingsmill Resort operator Xanterra Parks and Resorts. “Our new pool facilities will have the bells and whistles that keep kids happily entertained, while the new hotel and conference facilities will make doing business at Kingsmill more seamless than ever before.”
