INDIANAPOLIS — Prime Hospitality Group announces its recently acquired Faro Blanco Resort and Yacht Club in the Florida Keys has joined the Curio Collection by Hilton portfolio. The newly rebranded Faro Blanco Resort and Yacht Club Marathon, Curio Collection by Hilton has also debuted a $14 million renovation of its accommodations, amenities and restaurant offerings. Located in the Florida Keys city of Marathon, the resort joins its sister hotel, Courtyard Faro Blanco Resort, on the same property featuring 250 guest rooms at 1996 Overseas Highway.
Events
Faro Blanco Resort and Yacht Club Marathon has more than 40,000 square feet of reimagined meeting space. Event planners can take advantage of the resort’s waterfront vistas and chef-curated culinary experiences from event lawns or the marina-view pool deck.
Combined, the two resorts offer 3,800 square feet of indoor event space for small to midsize events. Faro Blanco Resort and Yacht Club has 1,800 square feet of indoor function space across three meeting rooms and two outdoor event lawns boasting water views.
Elevated Accommodations
Faro Blanco Resort and Yacht Club has 125 spacious guest rooms with bayside views of the Florida Keys. Each room is designed for modern comfort and has a 42-inch TV, sleeper sofa, complimentary Wi-Fi, luxury skin and hair amenities, a mini fridge and a contemporary bathroom.
Newly renovated Premier King Rooms feature natural wood tones, plush bedding and tropical-inspired art, accommodating up to four guests. The Premier Two Queen Rooms offer two queen beds and a sleeper sofa, for up to six guests. Each room will also include newly added coffee bars, vanities and workstations.
Known to be one of the oldest buildings in Marathon, the historic Parrish House will soon be renovated and restored to function as a private bungalow, with two bedrooms and a spacious kitchen and living area.
Culinary Options
Faro Blanco Resort and Yacht Club offers a variety of dining options. El Farito serves coffee, fresh pastries, breakfast favorites and grab-and-go items daily. Lighthouse Kitchen + Bar, set against the backdrop of the historic Faro Blanco Lighthouse and marina, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and features happy hour and poolside dining along with a newly curated menu.
Blue Waters Bar and Grill, located by the infinity pool in the Courtyard Faro Blanco building, provides a casual dining experience with local fresh fare and views of the Florida Keys waters.

Additionally, the resort features four outdoor pools, including an infinity pool. Guests can take advantage of beach access and enjoy guided snorkeling and fishing charters through the resort’s exclusive partner, Faro Blanco Marina, A Suntex Experience.
Later in 2024, a new full-service spa will offer guests serene treatment rooms and a curated selection of island-inspired therapies made from fresh botanicals and marine extracts. The resort also has a fitness center with diverse workout options, including weekly yoga classes on the beach.
