In between meetings or toasts, event attendees can explore the grounds on their own or on a guided tour to see art, make art and even witness art being made. Aside from the regular exhibits throughout center, the space is also home to a series of special touring exhibitions, so there’s always something new to see on the walls, from curated exhibits to art competitions from local artists in the community. Visitors can craft art projects at the hands-on Art Carousel program or witness the artists at work on the mezzanine level, where 17 art studios have been rented by resident artists who welcome the chance to let visitors observe and join in on their creative processes.

The FAC is a unique space in a historic, charming area. Aside from providing all the tables and chairs, set-up and break-down services, and staffing during the event, the center offers groups access to the its baby grand piano, projection screens, wireless microphones and kitchen space, as well as the ambiance of the local area. The center is just a minute’s walk from historic St. Charles, and many groups take advantage of the short walk alongside the Missouri River for a quick boutique shopping trip, a visit to a local restaurant and a chance to capture a piece of the Old World charm of the cobblestone streets and old factories.
