LAKE CHARLES, Louisiana — The $600 million Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino is opening this month.
The Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino will feature 740 guest rooms and suites, an 18-hole championship golf course, 30,000 square feet of meeting space, extensive retail options, a full-service spa, a private beach and marina, numerous restaurants and an innovative casino floor.
The resort’s casino will feature 60 table games, a state-of-the-art poker room and 1,600 new slot machines. The flavors of Landry’s Seafood, Vic and Anthony’s Steakhouse, Grotto Italian Ristorante, Saltgrass Steakhouse, Lillie’s Noodles, Asian Cuisine and Sushi, Michael Patrick’s Brasserie and other renowned restaurants will also be showcased.
Located adjacent to L’Auberge Casino Resort, the property will be the fourth casino in Calcasieu Parish. Groups meeting in the area can also see live horseracing at Delta Downs Casino and Hotel or melt into island time at the Isle of Capri Casino Hotel, right on Lake Charles. L’Auberge features golf, a spa, retail outlets and a lazy river.
