LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Denise Evans and Erika Farrell have joined the sales department at The Peabody Little Rock. Evans is executive meeting manager, and she focuses on group bookings for short timeframes. She previously served as sales development coordinator at The Peabody Memphis. Farrell is catering sales manager.
INDIAN WELLS, Calif. – Jim Pedone has been named director of sales and marketing at Miramonte Resort and Spa. Pedone has 20 years of luxury hotel experience, including his time as executive director of sales and marketing for La Quinta Resort in Indian Wells, Calif.
BOOTHBAY HARBOR, Maine – Spruce Point Inn has promoted Cindy Mastrella from director of sales to general manager. Mastrella joined Spruce Point in 2005. Her 27 years of hospitality work include positions with the Marriott, Hilton and Sheraton brands.
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Syracuse Convention and Visitors Bureau has named Chad Welch convention sales manager. Welch was director of sales at Embassy Suites Syracuse.
PASADENA, Calif. – Betsy Bush and Charles Snyder have joined the Pasadena CVB’s sales team. Bush is based in Virginia and will promote Pasadena to the national association market. As sales manager, Snyder will work with corporate and SMERF markets.
DES MOINES, Iowa – The Greater Des Moines CVB has appointed Jennifer Morris as sales manager. Morris worked for a property management company in Central Illinois.
WAIKOLA, Hawaii – Rodger MacDonald is the new director of marketing for the Hilton Waikoloa Village. He has 30 years of senior executive hospitality and management experience. Most recently, MacDonald served as executive director of sales and marketing for the Kona Village Resort.
LANSING, Mich. – The Greater Lansing CVB has hired Gus Pine as the organization’s first vice president of regional partnerships. He will be a liaison between the bureau and regional meeting facilities. Pine previously was general manager for the Radisson Hotel Lansing.
INDIAN WELLS, Calif. – Rick Blackburn has joined the La Quinta Resort as executive director of sales and marketing. Prior to his hire, Blackburn served as director of intermediary sales for Marriott International’s Global Sales Organization.
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Jason Kern is director of sales for the Shores Resort and Spa. Kern will work directly with the corporate, association and SMERF market segments. He previously served as director of sales and marketing for the Hammock Beach Resort in Palm Coast, Fla.
