LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Louisville Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) has hired Erica Bibb as convention sales manager. Bibb will handle meetings and conventions of 200 rooms or less for the religious, corporate, agriculture and military markets. She served as sales manager for the Springhill Suites/Fairfield Inn in Louisville.
FAIRBANKS, Alaska – Lloyd Huskey has joined the Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Fairbanks as general manager. Huskey has 24 years of hospitality experience, including general manager at the Pike’s Waterfront Lodge in Fairbanks.
Santa Ana Pueblo, N.M. – The Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa has promoted Donna Marie Mondragon to group sales manager of the New Mexico market. Mondragon has worked at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya for more than 12 years, most recently as transient sales manager.
PORTLAND, Ore. – Dani Boss is the Portland area director of sales for the Provenance Hotels’ Governor Hotel, Hotel Lucia and Hotel deLuxe Downtown. She previously worked as director of marketing at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Portland.
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – The Chattanoogan hotel has appointed Megan Inglis as conference services planning manager. She has seven years experience as an events manager at True North Custom Media in Chattanooga.
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – Marnie Hock is the regional director of national accounts at Destination Hotels and Resorts. Hock will focus on the healthcare, pharmaceutical and technology markets for Hamilton Park Hotel in Florham Park, N.J., and Tarrytown House Estate in Tarrytown, N.Y. Hock brings more than 20 years of sales experience, including director of North American group sales for Kempiniski Hotels, based in Geneva, Switzerland.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Greater Birmingham CVB has hired Chianti Cleggett as national sales manager. Cleggett comes to the bureau from Forci Media where she assisted clients with public relations and marketing services.
CHANDLER, Ariz. – Alex Moro is the new director of sales for the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort and Spa. He recently served as director of sales at The Arizona Biltmore in Phoenix.
DESTIN, Fla. – The Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort and Spa has hired Kristi Purvis as wedding and special events manager. Purvis has worked in hospitality and event planning for six years, and was previously CEO and owner of Kiss the Bride Wedding and Event Planning in Destin.
SUNRIVER, Ore. – William “Skip” James is director of sales and marketing for the Sunriver Resort. James served 12 years with Starwood Hotels and Resorts, including as director of sales and marketing for the Westin Hilton Head Island Resort and Spa.
