BRANSON, Mo. – The Hiltons of Branson have hired Lisa Jones as director of sales and marketing for the Branson Convention Center, Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel and Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing hotel. Jones was previously assistant director of sales for Hilton Americas-Houston.

MONTEREY, Calif. – Michelle Carlen has joined the Monterey County Convention and Visitors Bureau as regional sales executive. Carlen will oversee conference, meeting and incentive groups in southern California. She has 13 years of sales experience, most recently as sales executive for Destination Irvine in Irvine, Calif.

FRISCO, Texas – The Frisco CVB has appointed Lisa Bethea as tourism sales and convention services manager. Bethea spent five years in a similar position at Embassy Suites Dallas Frisco before joining the bureau.

LOUISVILLE Ky. – Cleo Battle has replaced Karen Williams as executive vice president of the Louisville CVB. Williams retired after 22 years in the position. Battle, a 27-year hospitality industry veteran, spent the last 12 years as vice president of sales and services for the Richmond CVB in Richmond, Va.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Sacramento CVB has named Angelina Nunez as convention sales manager with an emphasis on the faith-based market. Nunez brings 12 years of hotel experience, most recently as group sales manager with the DoubleTree by Hilton in Sacramento.
