ANAHEIM, Calif. – The Hilton Anaheim has named Michael J. Mustafa as director of sales and marketing. He was previously director of sales and marketing at the Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa, Calif.
AMARILLO, Texas – Tina Brohlin has rejoined the Amarillo Convention and Visitors Council as director of convention sales. She will focus on the sports, equestrian and national association markets. Brohlin was the council’s convention sales manager from 2007 to 2011. Most recently, she served as sales manager for TMI Hospitality.
LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Philip San Filippo is the new executive director of the Las Cruces Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB). He has more than 20 years of tourism experience, including his last position as director of promotions for the Aladdin Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
ACME, Mich. – Grand Traverse Resort and Spa has hired Kelly Jo Bowman as national sales manager. She will oversee state association, corporate, government and SMERF markets in Michigan area code 517, as well as corporate, association, government and SMERF markets in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina and South Carolina. Bowman most recently worked in sales for Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, Ill.
LYNNWOOD, Wash. – The Snohomish County Tourism Bureau has hired Anne Clarke as group sales manager. Most recently she was event coordinator at Dunegrass Country Club in Old Orchard Beach, Maine.
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Bhairavi Bhatt has joined the Fayetteville Area CVB as sales coordinator. Bhatt was sales manager at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Fayetteville.
WASHINGTON –Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) has named Tom Rohlfing as director of sales. Rohlfing will direct meeting professionals to ALHI’s more than 140 Four- and Five-Diamond hotels and resorts. Previously, he served as in-market sales manager for the Washington, D.C., region of Caesars Entertainment Corp.
