PORTLAND, Ore. – The Oregon Convention Center has hired Erin Jepson as director of event services. She most recently worked as director of events and patron services from the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville, Ark.
HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. – Kelly Miller is the new president and CEO of the Huntington Beach Marketing and Visitors Bureau. She replaces Steve Bone, who retired this summer. Miller has 30 years of travel industry experience, including her stint as president and CEO of Tampa Bay and Company.
ARLINGTON, Va. – Interstate Hotels and Resorts has appointed Leigh Ann Waters as corporate regional director of sales and marketing for Atlanta and surrounding areas. She will oversee sales at The Lodge and Spa at Callaway Gardens, Marriott Macon City Center and Hyatt Atlanta Midtown, which opened July 2013. Waters was previously corporate director of sales and marketing for Resource Hospitality LLC with responsibility for two Atlanta-area Doubletree by Hilton hotels.
MESA, Ariz. – Michelle Oden-Huebner has joined Visit Mesa as national sales manager. She comes to Visit Mesa from the Radisson Fort McDowell Resort in the Phoenix area, where she was the national sales manager.
BRANSON, Mo. – The Hiltons of Branson has hired Jay Campbell as general manager of the Branson Convention Center, Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel and the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing hotel. Campbell has more than 30 years of hotel and restaurant operations experience, including his most recent position as general manager of the Radisson Branson Hotel.
