LA QUINTA, Calif. – Michael Aylmer has been named mid-Atlantic director of sales for KSL Resorts. Aylmer will work with clients in the mid-Atlantic region, as well as Northeast associations. He served as sales and marketing director of The Homestead in Hot Springs, Va., for the past five years.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – The Scottsdale Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) has named Tracy Jackson national sales manager for the Midwest market. Jackson has 10 years of sales experience with Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona Grand Resort in Phoenix and the Greater Phoenix CVB.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Tom Caradonio is the new senior director of sales for the Albuquerque CVB. He spent 13 years as president of the Northern Kentucky CVB before coming to Albuquerque. The Albuquerque CVB also promoted Serena Sullivan from sales support manager to national sales manager. She will handle the SMERF Southeast market, which includes North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.

NAPLES, Fla. – Charles Mullins and Elizabeth Kintzing have joined the sales department at the Naples Beach Hotel. Mullins is director of group sales in the mid-Atlantic region. He recently worked in Las Vegas at Station Casinos, Caesars Entertainment and Planet Hollywood Resort. Kintzing is sales manager for the Southeast region.

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. – The Monterey County CVB has appointed Charlie Spiegel as director of sales. He brings eight years of convention sales experience with the Overland Park CVB in Kansas.

DURHAM, N.C. – The Washington Duke Inn has promoted Christopher McRoy to sales manager. McRoy has worked at the inn since 2005 as front office manager.

TUCSON, Ariz. – Brent DeRaad was selected as president and CEO of the Metropolitan Tucson CVB. He replaces Jonathan Walker, who retired in September after serving the bureau for 18 years. DeRaad has 14 years of tourism industry experience, including his previous position as vice president of the Scottsdale CVB.

WALLA WALLA, Wash. – Michelle Liberty has joined Tourism Walla Walla as executive director. Prior to her hire, Liberty spent three years as the CEO of Attitude, a marketing consulting firm in Walla Walla.
