HAMPTON, Va. – The Hampton Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) has hired Cathy Grieve as senior group sales manager and Brooks Hierstein as senior group services manager.  Grieve will focus on state associations. She most recently worked in business development for Eisenman and Associates in Richmond, Va. Hierstein previously worked for the City of Virginia Beach Resort Management and Special Events Office as event coordinator.
DURHAM, N.C. – Joel Grodensky has joined the Washington Duke Inn and Golf Club as director of group sales. Grodensky will handle the pharmaceutical, health care, entertainment and industrial markets. He served as director of sales at the Franklin Hotel prior to his hire.

GLEN COVE, N.Y. – Glen Clove Mansion Hotel and Conference Center has promoted Carlos D. Quinones from sales and marketing coordinator to sales manager. Quinones is pursuing a degree in history at Queens College in Flushing, N.Y.

IRVINE, Calif. – Trisha Edmonds is the director of sales for Destination Irvine. Edmonds has more than 10 years of hospitality experience, including director of sales for the Wyndham Irvine Hotel.

RICHMOND, Va. – Richmond Regional Tourism has appointed Devin Heath as vice president of sales and services. Heath comes to Richmond Regional Tourism from the Hilton Richmond Hotel and Spa in Short Pump, Va., where he served as general manager.

NAPLES, Fla. – The Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club has hired Sarah Cardenas as group sales manager. She will be responsible for the association and corporate markets, with an emphasis on the Northeast region. Cardenas has served as catering and conference services manager at the resort for the past four years.

PANAMA BEACH, Fla. – Gary Johnson is the new general manager of Bay Point Wyndham Resort. Johnson brings 34 years of service in the hospitality industry, including stints at the Sheraton, Embassy Suites, Hilton and Holiday Inn.

DEL MAR, Calif. – L’Auberge Del Mar has hired three sales team members after the departure of director of sales and marketing Francine Williams, who is starting her own marketing and consulting business. Robert Harter is director of sales and marketing, Jeffery Livingston is director of sales and Jamie Clave is sales manager. Harter previously spent nine years at Rancho Bernardo Inn in various positions, including group sales. Livingston was promoted to director of sales from associate director of sales. Clave will oversee San Diego and Southwest clients. She worked at the Estancia La Jolla Hotel as sales manager.

DESTIN, Fla. – Richard Ross is the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort and Spa’s vice president of sales and marketing. Ross brings 20 years of hospitality and tourism experience, most recently as vice president of sales and marketing for Remington Hotels, based at Hilton Fort Worth, Texas.

PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. – The Lodge and Spa at Callaway Gardens has hired Perry Grice as director of sales. Grice worked as regional director of sales for Georgia State Park Lodges before joining the lodge.
