STEVENSON, Wash. – Skamania Lodge has hired Susan Renner as national sales manager. Renner has nearly 20 years of hospitality sales experience, including her most recent position as senior sales manager for Hilton Portland and Executive Tower in Portland, Ore.

SHREVEPORT-BOSSIER, La. – Ray Ferland has joined the Hilton Garden and Homewood Suites Shreveport-Bossier as general manager. The hotel is currently under construction and is scheduled to open in December. Ferland was previously general manager of the Courtyard by Marriott Shreveport-Bossier City.

FRANKFORT, Ky. – The Frankfort Convention Center has selected Robin Antenucci as director. Antenucci had served as director of sales and marketing for the Frankfort Tourism Commission since 2007.

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Tania Lynn is national sales manager for the Renaissance World Golf Village Resort, Convention and Beach Club. She will handle association and corporate markets in the Southeast. Lynn, a 20-year hospitality sales veteran, worked as senior sales manager at Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.

PORTLAND, Ore. – Mark Williams returned to the Oregon Convention Center as director of event services after a two-year hiatus. After 15 years with the company, Williams left the center in 2010 to be business operations manager at the Oregon Zoo.

DESTIN, Fla. – The Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort has hired Wendy Valdez as executive meetings manager and J. Brian Lee as regional sales manager. Valdez will work with groups that require 25 rooms or less, including board retreats and executive meetings. She served as SMERF sales manager and senior sales manager for Embassy Suites in Destin, Fla. Lee will oversee meeting planners in the Midwest territory. He recently worked as regional director of sales for Guoman and Thistle Hotels in London.

LOS ANGELES – George Hutcheson is director of sales in the West region for the Associated Luxury Hotels International, a global sales organization for over 140 Four- and Five-Diamond hotels worldwide. Hutcheson will focus on accounts in southern California, Nevada and New Mexico. He worked as director of sales for Gaylord Hotels and Resorts’ Western Region national sales office.

MADISON, Wis. – Mark Clarke is the new general manager of the Alliant Energy Center. For the past five years, Clarke managed the World Dairy Expo, one of the largest trade shows in the world.
