AMARILLO, Texas – Amarillo Convention and Visitor Council has hired Lindsey Arbeiter as convention sales manager. She will handle all associations sales. She was previously a sales manager for Document Shredding and Storage in Amarillo.

GREENSBORO, Ga. – Robin Kreitner has joined The Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation as senior catering sales manager. Kreitner spent more than a decade at The Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta before coming to Reynolds Plantation.

SAN MARTIN, Calif. – CordeValle, a Rosewood Resort, has named Luca Rutigliano as resort manager. He joined the staff in 2006 as executive chef. After being trained in Italy at the Etoile Culinare University in Venice, Rutigliano received numerous culinary awards, including first place at the Super Star Culinary Competition.

BILOXI, Miss. – Jeff Segan is vice president of hotel operations for the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino. He previously served as general manager for the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island Beach Resort and Spa in Florida.

SANTA ANA PUEBLO, N.M. – Troy Wood has rejoined the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa as director of sales and marketing. Wood served as director of catering and convention services for the property four years ago. He has also worked at the Grand Hyatt and Hyatt Regency San Antonio in Texas.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Sarah Davis is junior sales manager for Visit Winston-Salem. She is a recent graduate of the hospitality and tourism management program at Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C.

GAITHERSBURG, Md. – The Gaithersburg Marriott Washington Center has selected Jay Lefkowitz as director of hotel operations. Prior to his hire, Lefkowitz served as director of operations at the Renaissance Charleston Historic District Hotel in Charleston, S.C.

AKRON, Ohio – Gregg Mervis was hired as president and CEO of the Akron/Summit CVB and the John S. Knight Center. Mervis has filled in as interim president since Susan Hamo’s death in February 2012. He originally joined the bureau and center in 1995 as director of sales. In 2010, Mervis was promoted to chief operating officer.

RALEIGH, N.C. – Jamie Rice is the new regional director of national accounts for the Greater Raleigh CVB. She will oversee the Washington, D.C. sales office, which includes Maryland and Virginia. Rice has more than 15 years of hospitality and tourism industry experience, including her most recent job as national sales manager for Freeman Corp. in Winchester, Ky.

MADISON, Wis. – The Greater Madison CVB has hired Constance Samuels as sales manager. Samuels has a degree in hospitality management from Virginia State University in Petersburg, Va.
