LYNNWOOD, Wash. – The Snohomish County Tourism Bureau has hired Samantha Shaw as group sales manager. Shaw previously served as business development manager for AlliedPRA Northern California, based in San Francisco.
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Chris Budd has joined the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess as director of sales. Budd served as senior national sales manager at Wynn Resorts in Las Vegas.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Visit Knoxville has promoted Jennifer Morris as senior director of sales and services and hired Sarah Rowan as sales director. Morris has been with Visit Knoxville for over five years, most recently serving as director of sports sales. Rowan will focus on scientific, hobby and trade markets. She previously worked for the Johnson City Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) as director of sales.
FORT MYERS, Fla. – Betsy Bush is the new Northeast sales manager for the Lee County Visitor and Convention Bureau (VCB). She will be based in Washington, D.C., to promote Lee County to the Northeast market. Bush has more than 20 years of tourism sales experience, including her position as account executive for Positively Cleveland CVB.
TUCSON, Ariz. – Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort and Spa has promoted Sonia Hammrich as director of sales and David Toler as assistant director of sales. Hammrich has been with the bureau since 2007 as assistant director of sales. Toler joined the resort in July as senior sales manager.
ANAHEIM, Calif. – The Anaheim/Orange County VCB has appointed Junior Tauvaa as senior vice president of convention sales and meeting solutions. Tauvaa’s last position was as senior vice president, strategic partnerships with Meeting Professionals International.
PASADENA, Calif. – The Pasadena CVB has promoted Jeanne O’Grady to director of sales and client services. O’Grady joined the bureau as associate director of sales in October 2011.
MONTEREY, Calif. – Linda Ruby is the new vice president, sales and group services for the Monterey County CVB. Ruby comes to the bureau from Tempe Tourism Office in Tempe, Ariz., where she was director of sales.
RANCHO PALOS VERDES, Calif. – Terranea Resort has hired Mark Adams as director of sales. Adams previously worked for with Marriott, including his most recent role as director of group sales at the Anaheim Marriott.
