BELLEVUE, Washington — The Intercontinental Bellevue at The Avenue is now accepting reservations for June 15. Originally scheduled to welcome guests in October 2023, the hotel first pushed back the opening to January before postponing it again to June.
The Avenue Conference Center offers 12,000 square feet of meeting and event space in nine multi-functional rooms, including the largest – the 4,270-square-foot Avenue Grand Ballroom, which can be divided in half. The 2,275-square-foot Orchard Road Ballroom can be split into three smaller rooms, and the center also has two breakout rooms and two boardrooms.
The 208-room hotel in the Seattle suburb of Bellevue is the first InterContinental-branded property for Washington state and the Pacific Northwest.
The hotel will feature 190 luxury guest rooms, 17 suites and panorama suites, and a 1,500-square-foot, two-bedroom Presidential Suite. Additionally, the property is part of The Avenue development, which features luxury condos, high-end retail outlets and dining venues.
Executive Chef Andrew Gietzen will present nouvelle cuisine at the Intercontinental Bellevue’s two upscale venues located within the hotel. CE LA VI Bellevue is the hotel’s upscale lobby bar and lounge that overlooks the Avenue Plaza and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Located on the hotel’s second floor, Fresco will serve contemporary Pacific Northwest cuisine, with a focus on “globally inspired, locally sourced” fare.
