Kearney, Where the Heartland Gathers (Sponsored)

Every year Kearney, Nebraska home to more than 1,350 events. Everything from large conferences to state and regional sporting events, as well as a number of smaller professional and educational meetings, come to town every year.

The reason is simple. In Kearney, you’ll find a combination of facilities, service, and small-town comfort that just isn’t available anywhere else in the Midwest.

Kearney’s meeting and event facilities are the best between Omaha and Denver. That’s not hyperbole. It’s a simple fact. Featuring over 300,000 square feet of flexible meeting space and adding another 75,000 square feet at a brand-new Crown Plaza opening in the fall of 2021. All this space gives us the ability to host large conferences and events that have a hard time finding an appropriate and convenient space even in communities 10 times our size. Flexible meeting space also means that we can accommodate several smaller events at once without breaking a sweat.

It’s not just the actual event space, though. In Kearney, you’ll find more than 1,900 guest rooms. Many hotels were recently remodeled and offer the newest amenities. Unlike many other communities, most of these hotels are within minutes of event spaces, with a number of them located on the same campus.

The facilities may be the best in hundreds of miles, but that’s not what makes Kearney the premier host community in the Heartland. It’s the people. Throughout our hospitality community, you’ll find an amazing staff, dedicated professionals, and wonderful volunteers who’ve been helping ensure that each and every event that happens in Kearney is a success.

Hospitality is important in Kearney

When you combine event venues, hotels, people, and the ease of a small city, plus our central location right on I-80 and daily air service to Denver and Chicago, it’s easy to see what makes Kearney the best event location around. So, when you’re planning your next event, consider coming to Kearney, where the Heartland gathers.
