Lincoln’s Amenities Impress (Sponsored Content)

Come see why Lincoln remains a top attraction for meeting planners and garners rave reviews from attendees from all over the world! You’ll be impressed with the amenities Lincoln has to offer your group or meeting.

Lincoln continues to garner top national rankings for affordability, with Downtown Lincoln a safe and walkable destination for meeting attendees. With airport connections to several locations across the country and a day’s drive or less from most Midwestern and nearby cities, Lincoln is the ideal spot for your next event. While hosting world-class sporting events and boasting top notch facilities, Lincoln offers numerous other options for attendees when the meeting is over, such as acres of parkland, over 131 miles of biking trails, thriving nightlife and palate-pleasing restaurants to enjoy, you’ll still feel right at home in Lincoln.

Lincoln has invested nearly $1 billion in its downtown area, expanding the entertainment and retail opportunities for groups. Among these investments has been an entertainment district, The Railyard, unique to few cities. The city has also created a trolly system that runs by all of the downtown Lincoln properties and takes visitors to all areas of downtown, covering everything from the Nebraska State Capitol, University of Nebraska, the P Street retail area, Historic Haymarket District and The Railyard.

The primary conference center hotel is the Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel. This property is one of only a handful in the nation that Marriott allowed to keep its former name due to the history of the property. Located blocks from the Nebraska State Capitol, the property has 300 sleeping rooms and over 46,000 square feet of meeting space.  Additionally, the Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel has a full-service restaurant, a Starbucks and many other amenities.

One of the newest hotels in Lincoln is The Kindler Hotel. This independent boutique hotel located in downtown Lincoln has 49 sleeping rooms and is spread out over two historic buildings. The ballroom can accommodate 300 people and features the architecture, moldings, and windows that have graced the room for nearly 100 years.  Customer service is of upmost importance to The Kinder Hotel, which prides itself as a high-end boutique with hospitality reflective of their mission.
