Meetings come with aerial views at aviation museum

CHANTILLY, Va. — A new meeting space at the National Air and Space Museum’s Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center puts attendees eye-to-eye with America’s aviation history.
From the 2,900-square-foot Executive Board Room, attendees can look into the museum’s aviation and space hangars. They can also enjoy art from the museum’s collection, which decorates the meeting space.
The board room and a smaller director’s suite are available weekdays during daytime hours. Groups that book the spaces make a donation to the museum instead of paying a rental fee.
Because of museum policy, political or fund-raising events, as well as personal celebrations such as birthday parties, cannot be held there. A list of approved caterers is provided to meeting planners; a catering kitchen serves each room.
