After a winter in which snow shovels were busier than kitchen brooms, the states of Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey are eager for spring and the green it brings.
As the Mid-Atlantic states emerge from snow and slumber, they look forward to a new season and the chance to show off new virtues and venues, among them a museum devoted to hikers, a theater restored to its former glory, a garden center where festive occasions take root and a bevy of award-winning hotels and resorts with appealing upgrades.
