Millennium Alaskan makes $5 million in upgrades
ANCHORAGE, Alaska — The Millennium Alaskan Hotel is in the midst of a $5 million renovation that will update the hotel, located four miles from downtown near the city’s international airport.
Already, lighting, carpet, wall coverings and furnishings in the restaurant, bar and lobby have been replaced. By fall, all three of the hotel’s conference rooms will be updated and ready for the busy fall season. In October, a remodel of all 248 guest rooms will begin. Work to replace carpet, wall coverings, air conditioning, televisions, cabinetry and bathrooms should be complete by spring.
