Mirbeau to open upscale inn and spa

SKANEATELES, New York — Mirbeau Inn and Spa at the Pinehills, opening this spring, is being designed as an elegant 50-room destination retreat reminiscent of a French country manor house. Catering to leisure, social and business guests, 45 miles from Boston and eight miles from Cape Cod, the resort will overlook the Pinehills Village Green and Shops as well as the 18th hole of the Rees Jones Golf Course.

The venue will have 5,000 square feet of function space, including a 1,500-square-foot ballroom and a garden event area for larger social and business events. The chapel will also provide an ideal space for more intimate gatherings and weddings.

The new inn and spa will feature distinctive design and decor, re-creating the look of a romantic French country estate and using elements from classic French architecture. In addition to guest suites, it will feature the 15,000-square-foot Spa Mirbeau, the Henri-Marie restaurant, a wine bar/bistro and plentiful meeting and banquet space. The buildings wrap around Mirbeau’s signature Monet Gardens and a waterfall at the spa entrance

Mirbeau Inn and Spa at the Pinehills will be the second property in the Mirbeau Collection. It joins the original Monet-inspired retreat located in the Village of Skaneateles, in the picturesque Finger Lakes region of central New York.
