ASHEVILLE, North Carolina— The new Embassy Suites by Hilton Asheville Downtown officially opened its doors on December 29.
The Asheville, North Carolina, hotel adds another 188 guest rooms to the downtown portfolio, providing one- and two-bedroom suites that have separate sleeping and living areas. Each suite features two high-definition televisions, a wet bar, microwave and mini-fridge, and select suites boast views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
The hotel has nearly 6,500 square feet of meeting and event space in eight meeting rooms. The largest meeting space is the Blue Ridge Ballroom, with 4,704 square feet, which can be split into four separate rooms. The French Broad Conference Center offers another 1,232 square feet of flexible meeting space.
E’Terie, the lobby-level restaurant and bar, and Soprana, an Italian brick oven pizza rooftop restaurant, are slated to open in early 2024. Soprana specializes in Italian cuisine and also offers views of the surrounding mountains from its rooftop location. With decades of culinary and hospitality experience, its executive chef Jeffrey Stanford and director of food and beverage Brian Sherwood both previously held positions at Biltmore.
“We couldn’t be more excited to open this hotel in the vibrant community of Asheville,” General Manager Rohit Radhakrishnan said in a statement. “Our goal is to seamlessly blend into the local culture and thriving community through partnerships with local organizations, breweries, farmers, purveyors and more – maintaining the city’s individualistic quality of life as we welcome residents and out-of-town guests and groups.”
Additional amenities include free, daily, made-to-order breakfast customized for guests’ dietary preferences and restrictions; a nightly evening reception with complimentary snacks and drinks; a business center; an indoor swimming pool that is open year-round; a modern fitness center with premium equipment, including a Peloton bike; and on-site parking.
