New Loews Arlington Hotel Coming to Open in 2024

ARLINGTON, Texas— The new Loews Arlington Hotel and Arlington Convention Center are set to open in early 2024.

Located within the hotel, the Arlington Convention Center will offer 200,000 square feet of indoor meeting space and 66,000 square feet of outdoor function space, including an event lawn. The hotel will also connect via skybridge to the existing Live! by Loews Arlington, a 300-room hotel across the street that opened in 2019 and offers an additional 35,000 square feet of meeting and event space.

The new Loews hotel will feature a resort-style beach club with two pools, cabanas, fire pits and a water slide.

Soy Cowboy, a pan-Asian restaurant concept from Benjamin Berg of Berg Hospitality, will be the hotel’s signature restaurant – one of the property’s five food and beverage outlets. Other dining options will include a three-meal indoor/outdoor restaurant featuring two wood-fired pizza ovens and homemade pasta, made on-site.

The new hotel is the next phase of a $4 billion vision by the city of Arlington, the Texas Rangers, The Cordish Companies and Loews Hotels that began with the $250 million Texas Live! entertainment complex, which opened August 2018, and Live! by Loews hotel which opened in August 2019.

The $550-million, 888-room hotel in Arlington, Texas, sits at the heart of the surrounding $1 billion Texas Live! entertainment district in the Dallas suburb.

“We are thrilled to see consistent progress on this beautiful new addition to our Arlington Convention Campus,” Decima Mullen, vice president of marketing and PR for the Arlington Convention and Visitors Bureau, said in a statement for the hotel’s topping-off ceremony last year. “We have so many exciting things happening with the continued development of The District, giving more options to attendees than ever before. Now, we look forward to celebrating the grand opening!”
