Centrally located in both the heart of Mississippi and the heart of the Southeast, the Pearl River Resort is owned and operated by the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians and sits on a small slice of more than 35,000 acres of beautifully forested Choctaw land in Choctaw, Mississippi. Every visit to the Pearl River Resort begins with a warm “halito,” or “hello,” from the friendly staff and ends with one final “yakoki,” or “thank you,” before a guest’s return home with a trip’s worth of memories from their stay at this expansive resort.
Pearl River is home to the Silver Star Hotel and Casino, the Golden Moon Hotel and Casino, the Dancing Rabbit Golf Club and Geyser Falls Water Theme Park. The tribe also owns and operates the Bok Homa Casino, an hour and a half south in Sandersville, Mississippi, where 700 slot machines keep visitors entertained.
The resort’s 24-hour gaming options allow visitors and guests to try their hands at any of the first-in-state slot machines, catch a game of bingo, join in a poker tournament or take to the tables for everything from blackjack to baccarat. The resort casinos are located side by side, with the Silver Star Casino and Hotel on one side of Highway 16 and the Golden Moon Casino and Hotel directly across the street. The properties combined offer more than 1,100 hotel rooms and suites available for overnight stays.
Aside from the buzzing casinos and sumptuous hotel accommodations, Pearl River offers the full resort experience to guests through its numerous other amenities at the property. Guests can relax at the resort’s full-service spa and salon, hit the links at either of the two championship golf courses at Dancing Rabbit Golf Club, or soak up the sun and catch a wave at Geyser Falls Water Park.
Both casinos offer dedicated meeting spaces. From business meetings to seated receptions, Pearl River Resort’s atmosphere is a safe bet for staging a successful event.
